Publisher's white quarter-cloth over light blue paper-covered boards, printed paper label affixed to the spine; all edges of the text block rough-trimmed; plain endpapers. Spine barely askew; spine label tanned and chipped at the upper-right corner, narrowly avoiding any printed text; extremities very lightly worn; routine light soiling. Endpapers faintly discolored in the hinges from binding glue. Near fine. Mark Twain is the subject of the first study (pages 9-26). (#10237).
