Publisher's bright red ribbed cloth; top edge of the text block trimmed, others untrimmed; plain endpapers. In the original dust jacket. Spine ends softly pushed; small bruise near the upper edge of the front board; corners very slightly bent; extremities with just a hint of wear. Endpapers lightly foxed with some offsetting from the dust jacket; scant marginal foxing. Dust jacket edges worn with a few nicks and small chips; spine panel very lightly darkened; folds a little worn; some trivial soiling. A near fine copy in a very good jacket.
