[10], 140, [1, blank], [1, fly title, same information as the title-page without the five-line slug and the street address numbers transposed (63 instead of 36)] pages. Publisher's binding in the original light brownish-gray wrappers, printed in black on the front wrapper; all edges of the text block trimmed. Spine very slightly skewed and wrinkled with the publication info written in manuscript ink; wrappers a little soiled with some mild foxing; edges very lightly worn. Previous ownership signature on the title-page, notes written on the  final page and rear inner wrapper, a few clippings tipped in with faint offsetting opposite; a few dog-eared leaves. Very good, with a contemporary handmade jacket (lightly worn with some fading). Contains Twain's "The Love Song," originally printed in an article in New York Sun ("In a Health Factory," February 7, 1892). BAL 3445. (#10110).
