Publisher's pictorial paper-covered boards; all edges of the text block trimmed; light pinkish-orange endpapers. In the original acetate dust jacket. Boards lightly rubbed with some tiny fox marks; spine ends very softly pushed; extremities lightly worn. Jacket chipped at the spine with a short closed tear to the top of the rear panel; a few minor scuffs. A near fine copy in a very good acetate. Contains the first publication of Twain's lengthy poem, "Age -- A Rubáiyát." (#10280).
