Spine slightly leaning; spine ends slightly pushed with a few small closed tears; joints and edges slightly worn; corners softly bumped; covers lightly soiled. Hinges mended but the front still cracked; title-leaf very nearly detached; newspaper clipping of the author's obituary affixed to the front paste down, offsetting opposite; text block tanned and somewhat brittle.
