Publisher's dark blue ribbed cloth, spines lettered in gilt, front boards ruled in blind with Twain's facsimile signature stamped in gilt; top edges of the text block gilt, others rough trimmed; plain endpapers; in the original dust jackets. Extremities very lightly worn. Bookseller tickets on the rear pastedowns. Nearly fine copies in faded, heavily chipped jackets, split along and folds and lightly soiled, fair only. BAL 3537. (#10138).
