Octavo (7.625 x 5.25 inches; 195 x 133 mm.). [6], 362 pages. Frontispiece portrait, dated [1906] (BAL first state), inserted. Publisher's red cloth, spine lettered in gilt, front board stamped in gilt, rear board stamped in blind; all edges of the text block trimmed; plain endpapers. Backstrip faintly darkened; top inch or so of both joints torn, turning the crown into a flap; base of the spine lightly worn; corners barely bent with a touch of wear; a few tiny faint blemishes on the boards. Text block sagging a little;  hinges starting; a couple instances of mild over-opening. About very good. BAL 3497. (#10127).
