[4], 173, [1, blank], [4] pages. Frontispiece and 120 engraved plates inserted at the rear. Contemporary black half-goatskin over boards covered in the same, spine in five blind-ruled compartments with four raised bands; all edges of the text block trimmed; marbled endpapers, flyleaves. Joints a little worn; boards with a few minor scuffs and blemishes; corners bumped and worn, with a few abrasions to the bottom of the rear board. Half-title and title-page foxed, some foxing throughout the text and then some trivial foxing the margins of the plates; minimal wear to the page edges, including a couple nicks and creases.
