Contemporary half calf over gray paper-covered boards, spine ruled and tooled in gilt with a gilt-lettered red morocco label; all edges of the text block trimmed; plain endpapers. Boards detached and heavily worn. Final leaf separated from the text block, still adhered to the rear endpaper and board; contemporary ink notations on each of the title-pages; light soiling and foxing throughout the text.
