Octavo (7.625 x 5 inches; 195 x 125 mm.). 31, [1, blank]; 36; 35, [1, blank]; 39, [1, blank] pages. Engraved head- and tailpieces. Contemporary cord binding, in want of boards and a backstrip (text block only); all edge of text block sprinkled red. First and last pages slightly soiled with some light staining to the terminal leaf; page margins very faintly tanned; the fore-edge of a few leaves trimmed a little short (still far from any text). Very good. "Zachary Pearce (1690-1774), from 1756 dean of Westminster and bishop of Rochester.
