Contemporary black half-calf over marbled paper-covered boards, spine lettered and ruled in gilt; all edges of the text block trimmed; plain endpapers. Spine askew; front joint cracked, rear joint starting; front board bowed; boards rubbed with an interior tear to the marbled paper of the rear board; board edges worn; corners bumped and worn. Endpapers tanned and wrinkled with some spotty discoloration (mildew?), text block lightly tanned but still supple. Good. (#10323).
