Publisher's brown cloth, spine and front board stamped in gilt, boards ruled in blind; all edges of the text block trimmed; brown coated endpapers. Spine leaning gently; spine ends and corners worn with some loss of cloth; joints abraded with a minor split on the rear joint; circular damp stain on the front board in the central gilt stamping; some minor, light soiling and splashes; corners bumped. Text slightly shaken; rear hinge starting; dark stain to the rear endpapers; light marginal soiling throughout; a couple instances of over-opening, first gathering slightly sprung. About very good.
