Illustrated frontispieces, with tissue guards printed in red, inserted in each volume. Publisher's dark blue ribbed cloth, spines lettered in gilt, front boards ruled in blind with Twain's facsimile signature stamped in gilt; top edges of the text block gilt, others rough trimmed; plain endpapers. Spine ends barely pushed; some corners just barely bent; extremities with a touch of wear. Nearly fine. BAL 3537. (#10139).
