Publisher's light gray pictorial cloth, spine and front board lettered in gilt and stamped in black and orangish-brown (BAL state A, sequence unknown). Spine very gently leaning; spine decoration partially rubbed away, though most of the spine gilt remains bright (all but Webster at the foot of the spine); few minor bumps or scuffs to the board edges. Very faint discoloration to the fore-edge of the endpapers; mild over-opening throughout. Very good. A bright, attractive copy. A science-fiction story in the vein of Jules Verne. BAL 3440. (#10109).
