It is a bittersweet day at Zsbs as I say goodbye to one of my favorite books. USSR, An Album Illustrating the State Organization and National Economy, a book of visual statistics designed by El Lissitzky, was my first major book purchase (costing me more than a month's rent, which was daunting as my wages at the time were $12/hour). I bought it in 2014, when I was a clueless neophyte, because I loved the look of it and found the content fascinating. Five years later (to the day) it is my first online retail sale. It found a much better home than I could provide, but my booth at every future book fair will be much less interesting without it.
